Also called Merom Expanding Stemmed

Along with Trimble points, sometimes called "birdpoints"

Noticeable small size

Triangular cross-section common

Stem form ranges from slightly to markedly flared

Base of stem generally convex

Base occasionally beveled

Occasional light grinding on base and stem edges

Size: Range from ¾ to 1½ inches long

Late Archaic ca 1600-1000 BC
