Type sometimes called "Intrusive Mound" points

Thin, well-made point

Blade wide and frequently angled giving the specimen a pentagonal shape

Corner notches narrow and deep; thin and delicate basal ears and barbs

Basal edge usually straight and occasionally slightly ground

Size: 1¼ to 2 inches long

Late Middle Woodland, Late Woodland: ca AD 500-900
