Base corner-notched; basal edge generally convex or fan shaped

Grinding on basal edge slight or absent altogether

Often made of high-quality Flint Ridge flint

Size: 2½ to 8 inches long

Middle Woodland/Hopewell: ca. 100BC - AD 500
